Lucia Carlini is an illustrator and animator from Rome. Her journey into the world of illustration began with a scholarship at the European Institute of Design, where she graduated in 2021.

In 2022, Lucia presented her first work as an author and illustrator, “L’importanza delle cose” published by Kite Editions. Her second book “I serpenti non fanno rumore” will be released later in 2024, and will be published by the same publisher.

Lucia’s creative ethos combines traditional illustration techniques with the versatility of digital tools. She believes that every illustration should not just be an image, but a narrative, a gateway to an entire world waiting to be explored.

PROJECT//
The aim is to create an illustrated children’s book that tells the story of a wolf on a mission to save the forest from the threat of the great hunger. The entire forest and its animals will play an essential role in restoring the balance of life.
