Narva Art Residency once again opens its doors to its history and exhibitions. 130 years ago, a neoclassical red-brick villa was built as the residence of Kreenholm’s director. At different times, however, the building has housed a children’s club, a newspaper, a library and much more. For the past ten years, the Narva Art Residency has been located in the building, which has already hosted hundreds of Estonian and foreign artists.
During the tour, you can also see two exhibitions that are currently open. American artist Jordan Vinyard’s personal exhibition “CRTL + ALT + REPEAT” of large-scale multimedia sculptures. The second is a historical exhibition that tells about the story of the Kreenholm region with the help of Fyodor Šantsõn’s house models.
