Juliane Foronda, a resident of the Narva Art Residency will give a workshop in Kreenholm Garden. Julian has been in residency for a month, she will talk about her experiences with planting and preserving, and present the garden she has built during that time. Guests can participate in planting seeds and plants.
“Look down and be gentle” is a small series of modular and (mostly) movable garden beds and furniture built out of shipping pallets from the Kreenholm Textile Factory. Invested in the notion of preservation, this project places emphasis on the community aspect of a “community garden” by offering locals, guests, and NART residents a space to gather. The workshop will focus on planting herbs and produce into the preservation garden.
