On this Sunday, 29th of September at 12.00 there will be an artist presentation of a new installation “Watchtower”. It is a symbol of signalling system known from the older times. Such wooden towers were used to look out for the enemies and smoke was used to let the people know.
This artwork is by Ukrainian artists Irena Tischenko and Tetiana Pavliuk who have been collaborating since 2020. They focus on themes related to post-totalitarian society, collective memory, and the urban environment. They are NART artists-in-residence this September.
