Step into the world of John McGarity’s multimedia installation “The Machinist’s Vessels (Transfiguration III)”, unfolding on February 22 at 15:00 at NART. The artist will also share insights into the work later the same day at 16:00 and 17:00.
The Machinist’s Vessels (Transfiguration III) is a multimedia installation exploring the flow of light and time as silent forces beyond human conflict. Set in the former projection room, the work combines video, sound, and material artifacts to reflect on the machinist as a messenger – guiding images, knowledge, and memory.
Like a river, light moves indifferent to the hands that attempt to shape it, carrying fragments of history forward.
The installation will be open for three days, including February 22, also on February 23 from 13:00 to 19:00 and February 24 from 09:00 to 16:00.
NB! On the evening of Saturday, February 22, NART will also host a cozy poetry evening.
French poet Laurene Ermacova will present her work in a warm and inviting setting, joined by Eduard Tee and Taavi Tuulik. A perfect reason to experience both events!
