During this week, flag-making workshops will take place at the Embassy of Venice, led by Danish artist August. They will culminate on Sunday 11 August, when everyone is invited to the opening of the artist’s and the participants’ joint work “Flag of a Time to Come”. What can flags mean? Which flag could symbolize Kulgu? What messages do Narva people want to express with flags?
After the opening, everyone is welcome to take the canoe again to the canals of Venice. Our guide will tell you about the history of the place, and introduce you to the art projects that have been born here. The tours start at 16:00 and 17:15. Places are very limited and please register here: https://forms.gle/HF7shm8G6mtcdNpa9
The price of the canoe tour is €5, payable in cash.
NB: Please dress appropriately and be prepared to carry your canoes to the canal.
The Narva Venice project is supported by the British Council.
