On 25.01 at 18.00 Narva Museum will host an open discussion as part of the “Narva Wooden Baroque” project, where everyone is encouraged to express their opinions about the future of wooden baroque.
The discussion will focus on how to present to the public something that no longer exists or of which only fragments and shards remain. Using the example of a wooden baroque collection, we will discuss questions such as:
- Why show broken things?
- Is whole better than broken?
- Is it better to make copies and hide the originals?
Panel participants:
- Maria Väinsaar
- Anne Raud
- Madis Tuuder
- Vovan Kastan
- Jüri-Martin Lepp
The open discussion will be also streamed online on the Narva Museum YouTube channel.
The event will be held in Estonian
The project is supported by Eesti Kultuurikapital
