Saturday 7.09 from 15:00 to 00:00
Address: Remmelga tee 8 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/dFDVuX9DtQnoY3k56)
One and a half kilometers from the Narva Art Residence is the Kulgu area, also called Narva Venice. It is a system of canals along the Narva reservoir, with lots of garages built around it by the locals. The garages are more than just boat sheds – people live there, and have a good time.
On the Saturday afternoon and evening of the Station Narva festival, everyone is also invited to hang out in Narva Venice. The summer project of the Narva Art Residency called “Narva Venice Embassy” celebrates the end of the season and organizes a cozy party, or the first “Venice Annuale” of its kind!
The event takes place in a unique creative dacha territory, which was created on the area of the former pump station of Kreenholm, and which has hosted artists from England, Denmark and Hungary during the summer. DJs play music, excursions take place. The tours also take you to the garages and explore different works of art.
The embassy team offers boat and canoe tours on the Venetian canals of Narva, where you can see the originality of this place up close! Boat tours are ticketed and with registration. There will be something to drink and something to eat as well at the Narva Venice Embassy.
The Narva Venice project is supported by the British Council and co-financed by the European Union.
