NART would like to invite everyone to celebrate a new book of the artist Maria Kapajeva, who is from Narva.
The book is the continuation of her project ‘Dream Is Wonderful, Yet Unclear’ about the Kreenholm community of Narva. The book is an artistic way to present stories, images and her own art works, Kapajeva collected and produced in Narva in 2017. This event is an unique opportunity for the community to get together and celebrate their stories in the form of the book and as a collective reading. The book is published by Milda Books (LV), it is designed by Jaan Evart (EE/NL), contributed by Liisa Kaljula (EE), Philipp Dorl (UK) and supported by the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, British Council in Estonia, Creative Europe Programme of the European Union ‘A Woman’s Work’ and Gallery of Photography Ireland. The book is in 3 languages – Estonian, Russian and English.
