Last summer Narva Art Residency started a cycle of events “Kitchen Talks”. We had several meetings at cosy kitchen NART (Joala 18) with cultural and public figures, artists and other interesting persons. The conversation takes place in an informal setting, with a cup of tea and snacks.
The event will also be streamed online via video. The link will be uploaded to Facebook shortly before the event.
This time we will meet our resident Leri Matehha, her main area of interest is film. She is originally from Estonia, but has spent most of her life in Germany. She filmed in Eastern Ukraine and Israel, where she explored the relationship between power and the human being. In Narva, her project aims to find and show the awkward relationship between Estonians and Russians. The result will be a short film. At Saturday’s meeting Leri will talk about her creative career and everyone will be welcome to ask questions.
