EXPLORE THE SPACE AND CREATE IT YOURSELF!
Urban installation workshop for young adults
Explore the urban space and build your own installation in the city!
On the first weekend of November, we are holding a workshop aimed at young adults, where we will explore the urban space and create together an installation to enrich the environment around us! As part of the workshop, a new piece of urban furniture will emerge around Narva Art Residence – an exciting bench, exhibition space and a sculpture! The two-day workshop is intended for young adults aged 12-17. We welcome young people who would take part on both days.
This is a continuation of the School of Architecture workshops held last year, where participants came up with different installations to enrich the urban space in Narva. Now it’s time to take the next step and build one of these installations! During two days, with the help of instructors from the School of Architecture, you can learn and discuss urban space, draw, sketch and build. We learn to notice and shape our living environment.
The workshop will be conducted by Jekaterina Zakilova and Kerli Irbo. Jekaterina is an interior architect from Narva. Kerli is a landscape architect who likes human-scale space.
The workshops will take place on Saturday 16.11 from 11 am to 5 pm and on Sunday 17.11 from 11 am to 5 pm. There is a limited number of places in the workshops. Participation fee 5 euros.
Registration: To register please write to residentuur@artun.ee
The workshop is held thanks to the support of the Ministry of Culture.
