Colombian artist-in-residence Rafael Duarte-Uriza invites everyone this Saturday, December 21 at 5:00 p.m. to an intervention at a point in NART, where the Earth’s magnetic field manifests itself.
This action explores how to amplify the energy emitted by the Earth’s magnetic field through a sculptural device created for this purpose based on the idea that bird feathers help them enhance their sensitivity and that acupuncture needles conduct electricity.
Rafael will share an action and a sculpture, conceived during his residency at NART as the result of a process fueled by the dialogue between explorations of the Earth’s magnetic field, the energy pillars in Tuhala Karst and Otepää and some walks through the streets of Narva and the Kreenholm factory.
